Xan and Naomi have been using their Tune M1 for a little over a year now, and they love it. From river surfing to biking, they’re able to do all their outdoor activities while camping comfortably.
They were looking for a truck topper camper that could solve two of their problems. The first problem was having to fold up the bed every day, a common struggle for people who use wedge campers. Tune’s East-West canopy sleeping set-up allows them to leave their bed as-is while still having open space in the canopy to sit and cook.
Their second problem with most pop-up campers was navigating the soft sides in cold weather and high winds. The Tune M1 solved that issue with its all-weather canopy material and insulation.
Camping in the Tune M1 allows Xan and Naomi to do more spontaneous trips.
“We were on a whim last summer,” Naomi said. “We throw in all the gear and see what happens.”
Like many Tune Outdoor owners, Xan and Naomi customized theirs with an interior build. One unique piece is their “basement” storage area. They build drawers into the floor to create an extra 6 feet of storage space. They also built a bench seat for extra storage that could double as a bed if someone comes to stay.

Xan and Naomi say one of their favorite parts of buying a Tune M1 was working with the Tune Outdoor team. They were able to stop in for a showroom visit, learn about the engineering behind the camper, and meet all the Tune dogs.
