We’re back with another installment of our Natural State Series, where we highlight the stories of Tune M1 owners. This month, meet Erika & David: a couple who share a love for the outdoors. The've transformed their '22 Tacoma and Tune M1 into the perfect adventure rig.

Finding the Perfect Fit
Erika and David chose the Tune M1 for its lightweight design, affordability, and spacious king-size bed – perfect for accommodating both them and their dogs. One standout feature for them is that the bed area cantilevers forward over the cab (about 60”), whereas most campers stop where the front and rear doors meet (around 40”), limiting bed size.

Built for the Outdoors
Since getting their Tune M1 in August 2024, Erika and David have put it to the test. Whether it's navigating rugged trails or enduring winter camping conditions, they’ve been impressed by the build quality and durability. The Tune M1 has survived tree scrapes and off-road adventures. Plus, they appreciate the incredible customer service that helped them fine-tune their setup, including providing advice and support while Erika and David installed their diesel heater.

Everyday Utility Meets Adventure
Despite being an overland-ready camper, David also drives his Tacoma daily, appreciating how the Tune M1 easily integrates into his lifestyle. Whether hauling materials for a home project or packing up for a weekend adventure, the truck remains functional.
Erika & David's Favorite Features

"More space than some full-size truck campers!"
Flair Walls (Side Pop-Outs)
"Maximizing every inch of space makes a huge difference."
What's Next?
So far, their Tune M1 build is simple, but this summer, they plan to fully customize their setup based on what they've learned from other Tune owners. Their top upgrades so far? Their heater and insulated roof, keeping them warm even at 12,000+ feet.
For Erika and David, their Tune M1 is more than a camper – it’s a launchpad for exploration. From skiing at Copper Mountain to fly fishing, off-roading, and capturing wildlife through their lens, they use their setup to escape the crowds and immerse themselves in nature.
